Bon Hui Uy has been an architectural designer for over five decades, working his way up, from a Junior Designer to a Partner In-charge of Design.
He believes that a creative designer never truly retires. So, over the years, Bon Hui transitioned from creative architectural work to creative art work, where his true desires live.
He realize that being as an architect you are working for a group, but he always wanted to do something on his own. He wants to express his passion and love true fine arts.
Ever since his early exploration in the fine arts in 1974, he has created thousands of pieces of art: paintings, collages, to sculpture. Now at the age of 77, he has shown no signs of slowing down.
He truly believes that the arts should be fun, and should make people smile. This has been the focus of his artistic creation.
